The ban on Bollywood in Pakistan was announced by various cinema owners late September in response to the Indian Motion Picture Producers Association (IMPPA)’s ban on Pakistani actors, singers and technicians from working in India till “normalcy” returns. The ban from India was a reaction to the Uri attacks in Kashmir.
Kaabil is a action thriller about a blind man seeking vengeance for his wife’s (Yami Guatam) murder. It has been directed by Sanjay Gupta (of Jazbaa fame) and produced by Rakesh Roshan.
