KARACHI: The country’s foreign exchange reserves reached to a new peak of $21.61 billion with the addition of $293 million in a week ended on May 20.
The foreign exchange reserves amounted to $21.32 billion in the preceding week.
The reserves, held by the State Bank of Pakistan, increased $293 million to $16.81 billion in the week under review from $15.517 billion in the week ended on May 13. However, forex reserves, held by banks, were flat at $4.8 billion.
