LAHORE: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif praised security forces and intelligence agencies for successfully recovering kidnapped son of the Chief Justice of Sindh High Court, barrister Awais Ali Shah, on Tuesday.
The Prime Minister hailed the performance of security agencies and intelligence agencies and stated that they deserved congratulations for their professional attitude and operational expertise.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif also congratulated Chief Justice of the Sindh High Court, Justice Sajjad Ali Shah on the recovery of his son.
I.G. Sindh also termed the recovery of Awais Ali Shah as a big victory and said that the investigation regarding the kidnapping of the barrister would continue.
Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah expressed satisfaction at the recovery of Awais Ali Shah and thanked security forces as well as intelligence agencies for their role in the successful operation. Shah also congratulated Justice Sajjad Ali Shah on the recovery of his son.
Awais Ali Shah had been recovered in an intelligence based operation, said military spokesman Lt General Asim Saleem Bajwa on Tuesday. In a series of tweets, Bajwa had said three terrorists were killed in the operation that was carried out near Tank, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to Asim Bajwa, Awais Ali Shah will be handed over to his parents on Tuesday.
