ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is expected to chair a meeting of federal ministers and leaders of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) today to discuss the issue of inquiry commission on Panama Papers.
The ministers will brief the PM about their contacts with opposition parties. Consultations will be made on Panama Leaks commission during the meeting.
Legal team will brief PM on the matters related to inquiry commission. PM will also be informed about PTI prospective protest program.
The Premier on Tuesday returned to Pakistan after a private visit to United Kingdom. The PM left for London last week for a medical check amid a debate in the country on Panama Papers, with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf threatening to mount a protest march on Raiwind.
Meanwhile, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar will hold a meeting with opposition leader in the National Assembly Syed Khursheed Shah to discuss the matter of Panama leaks.
