LAHORE: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has advised opposition parties to serve the country instead of protests.
Informally speaking to senior journalists at Lahore Airport upon his return from London after open heart surgery, PM Nawaz said, “I am completely fit and back with new enthusiasm.” “I am as active today as I was before the heart surgery”, he added.
The Premier asked the opposition to serve the nation instead of protest, adding that opposition should think sit-ins were not the solution of any problem.
On the demise of Abdul Sattar Edhi, PM Nawaz acknowledged famed philanthropist’s everlasting services, saying that these would be remembered forever.
Nawaz Sharif vowed to write ‘new history’ by serving the masses like Edhi.
