KARACHI: Former MNA and city PPP chief Abdul Qadir Patel returned from London on Tuesday night and vowed to cooperate with the Rangers who have summoned him for answering some questions that have emerged during investigation into cases against former federal minister Dr Asim Hussain.
“My hands are clean so I don’t need to worry about anything,” Mr Patel told reporters outside the airport after his arrival via Dubai. “I will definitely cooperate with the law-enforcement agencies.”
He said in reply to a question that the PPP was not aware of his return which proved that his move was not part of any ‘deal’.
“I have been asked for a meeting on April 14 by the Sindh Rangers. I don’t know how and why Dr Asim shared my name with the investigators.”
