KARACHI: The Joint Investigation Team report of notorious gang-war leader Uzair Baloch is still incomplete as it does not bear the signatures of police officials.
According to details, the political section of Uzair Baloch’s JIT report does not bear the signature of police officials, which makes the report incomplete. ISI, MI, IB and Rangers officials have already signed the report.
It is mentioned in the JIT report that Uzair confessed that some PPP members used to help him on the behest of PPP co-chairperson Asif Ali Zardari.
Uzair Baloch is a key figure in the Lyari gang-war. He was arrested by Rangers officials in January of this year after he was caught trying to enter Karachi from its outskirts.
Baloch was wanted in Karachi in more than fifty cases, including the murder of his arch-rival Arshad Pappu. The government had placed a bounty on his head of rupees two million.
Many PPP leaders have time and again refused to acknowledge that they had ties with the notorious gang-war suspect.
