Smartphone’s are undoubtedly became the necessities of modern times, and I dare say all hell break loose when you lost it or simply forget where you left it.
So what are you going to do? Google off course, one of the largest tech giants has now made it easier, to find your lost smartphone, all thanks to an update Google has announced on its “My Account” service, which will now include a feature that will help users find their lost or stolen phone.
The ‘Find Your Phone’ is the latest addition to Google’s My Accounts, and is available for both Android and iOS devices.
“Find your phone is a new feature that will help you if your phone is ever lost or stolen. In a few simple steps, you can not only locate your phone, but also lock and call it, secure your account, leave a callback number on the screen, and more. The feature can be used to find lost Android and iOS devices, and soon, you’ll also be able to access it by searching Google for “I lost my phone.”” Google said in a blog post.
imageCelebrating the 1st birthday of My Accounts, Google announced further improvements to make it easier access My Accounts “just by using your voice”, says Google. Meaning that in the latest Google app you just have to say, “Ok Google, show me my Google account,” and that’ it.
This service is currently available only in English, however other languages are to added soon.
