BBC report exposed Sharifs, says Imran

DERA GHAZI KHAN: Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan says the people of south Punjab and Lahore want to get rid of the PML-N government as it did not resolve their problems.

He says the letter of the Qatari prince could not save Nawaz Sharif and his family as the BBC report had proved that the Sharifs were the owners of the London flats.

Imran was addressing a public meeting at the Sports Stadium here on Sunday.

He said the PTI would eliminate tax evasion and its government would spend the tax money on the welfare of the public. The present government had failed to provide employment to the youth but the PTI would ensure job opportunities for all, he added.

“The new Pakistan will have a uniform education system and free medical treatment. The PTI government will establish a welfare state to provide equal opportunities to all the citizens, irrespective of status. It would also eliminate the duality in implementation of law.”

Talking about cricket, the PTI chief pointed out that nepotism of Nawaz Sharif and Najam Sethi had spoiled the national team.

“We will restore the policy of merit in selection of players who can be from Dera Ghazi Khan also as there is lot of talent in Dera Ghazi Khan.”

Responding to the demand of establishment of a cancer hospital in Dera Ghazi Khan, Imran said a hospital would be established but he could not make a promise.

Shah Mehmood Qureshi and Jehangir Tareen also addressed the meeting.
