LAHORE: PML-Q President Chaudhry Shujaat Husain doubts that the Qatari prince whose letter was produced by the Sharifs before the Supreme Court in the Panama probe case will appear before the court for cross-examination.
“I doubt that the Qatari prince will come to Pakistan…. Even if he comes, he will have to stand in the witness box [for cross-examination],” Shujaat was talking to the media after offering prayers for Jahangir Badar at the late PPP leader’s residence on Sunday.
Responding to a question about Panama leaks, Shujaat said everybody was looking towards the Supreme Court whose verdict would be accepted by all.
Paying tributes to the late Badar, the PML-Q leader said that despite belonging to a rival party he had great respect for him. He said Badar had a great knowledge of Sufi poets and would often recite verses of Bulleh Shah and explain them to others.
