Pakistan’s ICC ranking plummets to fourth position after taxing 2-0 Test loss to NZ

Pakistan on Tuesday tumbled to fourth position from second place in the MRF Tyres ICC Test Team Rankings after losing two Test series against New Zealand.

Pakistan started the series with 109 points but now stands at 102, reported ICC.

Pakistan led the table till last month before it was overtaken by India after they won 3-0 against New Zealand.

The win against Pakistan has also affected New Zealand’s ranking ─ the team now stands at sixth position with 96 points, five of which it gained in the series against Pakistan.
