Pursuit of beauty: OPPO unveils Classic Black F1s Selfie Expert

Global No.4 smartphone brand OPPO unveiled the limited edition ‘Classic Black F1s Selfie Expert’ at the PC hotel in Karachi, priced at Rs 25,899 only, in partnership with Hassan Sheheryar Yasin (HSY).

This is the first time in Pakistan that a smartphone brand has partnered with a fashion personality. There will only be 1000 units of the Classic Black F1s available and pre-orders will start on 17 December 2016.

The new phone was unveiled at a press conference, attended by esteemed members of the press, OPPO’s global and national brand teams and associates of OPPO’s distribution network in Pakistan.

The conference started with a welcome note by Anoushey Ashraf, the host for the evening, and was followed by speeches from OPPO’s Oversees brand manager Kevin Hu, the face of OPPO Mr. Hassan Sheheryar Yasin and CEO OPPO Pakistan Mr. George Long. The audience also had the privilege of having a hands-on experience with the new phone after the big unveil.

George Long, CEO of OPPO Pakistan said, “The launch of only 1000 sets of the F1s Selfie Expert along with a case designed by Mr. Hassan Sheheryar Yasin, shows our persistence of continuously enhancing the product experience for Pakistani consumers. OPPO and HSY entered into this partnership by keeping in mind HSY’s status as a fashion icon and his contribution to the Pakistani fashion industry. We hope that our customers will appreciate our new Classic Black F1s Selfie Expert.”

The new F1s has a 16 Megapixel front camera, which has a 1/3.1-inch sensor and f/2.0 aperture. Other selfie-focused features on the smartphone include the ‘Beautify 4.0’ app for selfie editing, the unique ‘Selfie Panorama’ feature that stitches together three selfies, and the ‘Screen Flash’ feature.

Another key feature is the extremely accurate and fast ‘Touch Access’, which can unlock the phone within 0.22 second.

The Classic Black F1s has been competitively priced at Rs 25,899 only, the same price as the Gold & Rose Gold F1s. Those customers who pre-order the phone will also get a gift pack along with their purchase which includes an exclusive case designed by HSY.

This new F1s will be available for pre-order from 17 December 2016 at the brand’s dealer stores across the country, and customers can collect the handsets on 24 December 2016.

Launched in Pakistan in 2014, international smartphone brand OPPO is dedicated to providing customers with the most extraordinary mobile experience through meticulous designs and smart technology.
